Introduction

This section covers information on the college"s strategy and management of financial resources. The Finance team provides accounting, procurement and contracting services, helping to make best use of resources and fulfilling statutory responsibilities. Information that may damage the college"s commercial interests will be excluded from publication.

Description - This class includes policies and procedures relating to:

  1. Budgets and accounts
  2. Contracting
  3. Goods and services
  4. Insurance
  5. Pensions
  6. Remuneration of senior staff as published in annual accounts
  7. Travel and subsistence

2.2

Resource planning

This class includes information that defines how the college undertakes its planning and resource allocation, how it regulates the deployment of resources and how it publishes the outcomes.

Examples of the type of information in this class include:

  1. Financial regulations, including procurement policy
  2. Annual accounts
  3. Annual budget (as appears in the final accounts)
  4. Planning and budgeting procedures
  5. Corporate plan/Mission statement
  6. Annual report
