As if the range of courses wasn’t enough, Boston College can offer you a variety of services to help make life easier.
Refresh Yourself
If yours is a daytime course, sample the food on offer at The Bistro. Prepared and served by students from the Hospitality and Catering department, the food is excellent value and is enjoyed by hundreds of students and staff each week. Pastries, cakes, paninis, salads and daily specials tempt you - so treat yourself!
The Haven Restaurant serves delicious meals during the day, with ‘Brasserie’ nights on alternate Thursday evenings. This luxurious restaurant can also be booked for special events. Refreshments are available before evening classes in The Diner, which serves cafeteria style meals. During later classes, take advantage of our selection of vending machines, offering snacks and hot and cold drinks at all sites.
Relax and Rejuvenate
There are many ways to escape the stresses and strains of everyday life with Boston College. Visit Salon École on the Rochford Campus for a range of competitively priced Hair and Beauty treatments. Manicure, pedicure, and even aromatherapy massage are just some of the treatments on offer.
If you prefer something more energetic, we can offer you free swimming at the Geoff Moulder leisure centre, and preferential membership rates at the gym. With these offers you can improve both body and mind!

Extensive car parking is available free to all students at the College’s Rochford and De Montfort campuses. For students at the Learning Centres, parking is available nearby in town centre car parks.
At the Rochford Campus there is also a small convenience store (open 10.30am – 1.15pm), which can provide some of the essentials you might need from time to time, such as tea, coffee, newspapers and stationery.
Supporting Your Learning
We make every effort to ensure you get the best chance to succeed in your chosen course of study. To help, there are extensive Library facilities on the main Boston campuses with access to books, multimedia, computers, internet and journals. Also, laptops, videos and DVDs are available to rent on a nightly basis.
In the local Learning Centres, Boston College students also get preferential rates for the use of Cybercentre facilities, such as the internet, fax and computer hire.
Did you know that Boston College is the third most rural College in the UK? Lincolnshire also has a more widely distributed population than most other areas (Office of National Statistics). With transport around the county a perennial problem, Boston College is always looking for new ways to get out and meet you in your community.

Drop-in computer training is available in permanent town-centre locations in Boston,Sleaford and Spalding. They are open day and for evening classes. For more information, call your local centre, they will be happy to help.
Join a flexible course to learn the basic information technology skills you need at times to suit you and at a pace you feel comfortable with. Friendly tutor support is on hand at all times to help with courses ranging from absolute beginners to level three.
