Lauren attended St Bedes School up until Year 11 when she decided to move onto College to study Media. “I have always known what I wanted to do. I knew I didn’t want to stay at school therefore College was the next option for me”.

“The course allows me to be really hands on; I get to do a variety of things. At the moment we are using a range of professional programmes to create posters for the College prom. We have already been able to produce our own music videos and work with animation”.

“Everyone is really helpful; tutors are there for you no matter what, whether it is personal or related to college work. The facilities are really good; we have access to a photography suite, dark room and Apple Mac computers”.

Lauren is progressing onto level 2 next year and hopes to then go onto University to study Magazine Layout, with her overall ambition being to work within the magazine/newspaper industry
