 Ademicca Records

Ademicca Records is Boston College's record label.
Launched in December 2013, the record label allows fresh local talent, the opportunity to make it big in the music industry.
The label is the creation of the College’s HNC Level students. It will primarily serve to release new music into the market, recording artist’s tracks, providing promotion (including music videos), as well as arranging gigs and performances throughout the local area.
With the support of over 8000 students currently studying at the College, Ademicca Records hope to employ the available skills and College resources to maintain the label with minimal costs, whilst utilising the student body to generate the required downloads needed for entry into the UK Single Chart. From this position, the label will have the credibility to sign new acts and grow local bands in the future.
Its formation is a fantastic opportunity for the College and local musicians who wouldn’t normally have access to such services to get experience, advice and support. Plus, the label also intends to donate 50% of profits to the College’s Be Brilliant Foundation, a charity benefiting learners experiencing financial obstacles to their education.
