Army Further Education Bursary Scheme

The Army is working in partnership with Colleges across Lincolnshire to offer the Army FE Bursary Scheme. You can receive £1000 for each year you are at College, after completing your course you join the Army where, on successful completion of soldier training, you receive a further £1000.

What courses are covered?

The Army is supporting a wide range of courses that offer fully recognised qualifications. To qualify for the scheme you must be on a recognised Level 2 NVQ course or above. You could choose a course in Computing, Engineering, Catering, Uniformed Services, Construction or Vehicle Repair, Business, Administration, Healthcare, Animal Care, Travel, Tourism & Leisure, Music, Media or Sports.

Speak to an Army Careers Adviser. You can find your nearest Careers Office by visiting armyjobs.mod.uk or calling 08457 300111.

How to apply

Fill in an application form which you can get from your local Army Careers Office or online at armyjobs.mod.uk
Or, Enrol on your college course and make them aware that you would like to apply for the Army FE Bursary Scheme. They will then alert an Army Careers Adviser who will then contact you.
