 Motor Vehicle (Automotive)

Gain an insight into the automotive trade from Mechanical and Electrical principles and motor sport to specialist areas such as Hybrid technology, Automotive electrical and Customer services.

You will work in a real-life, simulated working environment with modern motor vehicles, using the latest technology, tools and diagnostic equipment, taught by experienced and fully qualified industry lecturers who have links to national and local employers. Your training could lead to roles such as: auto repair, customer service, fast fit/vehicle fitting, after sales, motor sport, the armed forces, or progression to a degree level course.

You will also have the opportunity to experience real-life industry through work experience placements and educational visits including vehicle manufacturing, automotive repair, national shows and events such as the International Auto sport show, Pro-drive and Santa Pod Raceway.
