Response to Redundancy Project

For those who have recently become unemployed, have been made redundant or are at risk of redundancy, this project offers employability and personal support and supports those to access various training courses to help them back into employment. Support is available across the county at Boston, Spalding, Long Sutton, Sleaford, Skegness, Horncastle, Lincoln, Gainsborough, Mablethorpe, Market Rasen and surrounding areas. [free]

Work Focussed Training [6 Month Offer]

For those who are unemployed over 6 months and their main barrier to employment is either a qualification or a training course to enable them to get a job, this programme offers support, guidance and training to those in Boston, Skegness, Spalding, Sleaford, Long Sutton and the surrounding areas. [free]

Re-training

Why not re-train for another career? We have a wide range of vocational courses for adult in Business, Computing, Teaching, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Health and Socail Care, Childcare,Construction, Engineering, Foundation Degrees, Sport, Leisure and Tourism, Catering and Hospitality.

Financial Support

We are aware that if you are not working finances can be tight so we offer support where possible. The Working Communities Project and Redundancy Project  are free to you and can help with cost that pose a barrier to finding work such as travel, interview clothes and childcare.

We have an Access Fund at Boston College which may be able to help you with some of these costs if you are on Work Focussed training or Re-training.

For Re-training, Course tuition fees are not chargeable if you are in receipt of benefits[ but you may be asked to pay for exam registration].
